Now hiring for Part-Time Bookkeeper/ Exec Admin
With a passion for entrepreneurial projects, we have reached a point where we have quite a bit of bookkeeping and administrative work each week that we need taken care of. These are diverse businesses with a variety of needs and we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accounting & Executive Admin to join our close-knit team. The right person will be a massive improvement to the way our businesses operate and run. We are at a growth plateau and can not go any further without help in this area, so the impact is huge. Responsibilities:
General Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records by recording daily transactions, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring all entries are accounted for.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, tracking payments, and handling customer and vendor inquiries.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports as needed.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software with a high level of accuracy.
Email & Calendar Maintenance: Review and respond to emails for owners; maintain business & personal calendars
Success Criteria:
Bookkeeping of all transactions in each company is completed every week.
Incoming mail / email / to-dos are processed and calendared every week.
Outgoing billing / invoicing is processed on time.
Each business's rhythm of tasks is organized and completed.
Potential or upcoming problems, issues, or alerts are promptly brought to our attention.
New and innovative ways of organizing are found, invented, and implemented.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online) is required.
Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education: A degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, but not required if you have equivalent experience.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with spreadsheets and comfortable learning new software tools (e.g., Wave, Office RnD).
